Job Description:
Coordinate Truss Design department. Oversee, train
and develop design staff. Check output of design
department to ensure accurate and complete roof
and floor systems designs. Design, layout and
prepare drawings for trusses and related products
as required for customer quotes and orders following
established procedures and standards using CAD
and other related software.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's
degree or the equivalent in Structural Engineering,
Construction Management or a similar field (equivalency
would include an evaluation indicating that education
plus experience is equivalent to a degree in the
requested field). 5 years of experience in the
oversight of truss design, production and manufacturing
of roof, wall and floor truss systems, and wood
and steel blueprint analysis and interpretation.
Must also be proficient with manufacturing software
programs.
